Product: LibreOffice Reporter: Grobe <regeirs.forum>
Component: CalcAssignee: Not Assigned <libreoffice-bugs>
Status: RESOLVED WORKSFORME
Severity: normal CC: bfo.bugmail, sasha.libreoffice
Priority: medium
Version: 3.3.4 release

Description Grobe 2012-01-06 09:32:04 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1. Select range F1:F13

2. Find the Borders dropdown button and select left vertical border.

3. Write something (contents doesn't matter) eg. the numbers 13 and 14 in cells E3 and F3.

4. Place the cell cursor at E5 (cell active)

5. Hit Ctrl+Shift+V

6. Under "Selection", uncheck all entries exept for Text, numbers and Date & time.

7. Hit OK

Now, even if the cells E5 and F5 is empty (F5 is formattet with left border), I got the question:
"You are pasting data into cells that already contain data. Do you really want to overwrite the existing data?"

This means that LibO fails to check if cell F5 is empty when that cell is fomatted with borders.
