This bug resembles few another bug but looks different. I created separate bugreport in case it is another bug.
Steps to reproduce:
0. Start Impress
1. add 2 new slides
2. change master page for all slides
3. change master page for second slide to page with another background
(right click on master slide on right hand pane and select "Apply to selected slide"
4. change master page for 3-th slide to page without background
5. change background image for 3-slide
6. Save as pptx
7. File->Reload
Size of images changed

Produced in LibO 3.3.4. and 3.5.0 beta 2 on Fedora 64 bit

I can't reproduce this in version 4.0.2.
Can you please confirm it got fixed in the meantime?

Thanks for additional testing

If bug fixed by unknown patch, then should be status be WorksForMe.
It is because bug may suddenly appear again.
By status WorksForMe we indicating this.
