It is not a bug because, as Release Candidate, LO 3.5.0 rc1 works the same way as the final release does. Only development versions allow parallel installation. Best regards. JBF indeed, not a bug. pls see the release notes for info |
Problem description: Installing RC1 as parallel installation is not possible. Steps to reproduce: 1. Execute Custom Installation Wizard 2. Select different folder other than default 3. Execute setup Current behavior: the new installation installs to custom folder. However, the previous version of the program is automatically removed. Thus parallel installation is not possible. Expected behavior: Inputted new folder name other than default for secondary installation, in order to preserve the previous install of program.
