Description Jean-Baptiste Faure 2012-01-24 05:01:30 UTC
The bug is present in LO 3.4.5 and LO 3.5.0 rc1.

I launch LO 3.5.0 rc1+ in a terminal under Ubuntu 11.10 with Gnome-shell
Steps to reproduce:
- open a new document
- save the document

current behavior: when I validate the name of the file, I get the following message in the terminal:

(soffice:18107): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to retrieve the file info for `file:///home/jbf/Bureau/test_lignes-2': Erreur de l'interrogation du fichier « /home/jbf/Bureau/test_lignes-2 » : Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

English translation : no file or directory of this type

Here test_lignes-2.odt is the name of my file. You can see that the warning message is about a name without extension.

Same problem in Calc and Impress (did not test others modules), so the bug is probably at the level of the filepicker.

Best regards. JBF

Reproducible in 3.5.3 on Fedora 64 bit
Example of output:
(soffice:21576): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to retrieve the file info for `file:///home/s/writer-text1': Error stating file '/home/s/writer-text1': No such file or directory

Happens only if remove mark from "Open/Save dialogs->Use LibreOffice dialogs"

Is this bug still present in current version?
I couldn't reproduce it.
