Description andis.lazdins 2012-02-12 22:35:44 UTC
For instance, when I enter '=if(A1="";A2;A3)', I select specified cells by mouse click. Sometimes, not from the beginning of formula, but usually somewhere in the middle, formula in the Formula bar stops to update, but continues to update in the tip, which appears beside the edited cell. When I press Enter at the end, the formula is not completed and ends at that place, where it stopped to update in the Formula bar. The only way to complete formula is to write it manually. Sometimes, not sure if always, formula bar continues to update, if I cut / paste certain formula elements in cell (not in formula bar), for instance, cut / paste 'A2' from the formula above.

Unfortunately I can't repeat this behaviour with fresh files. It seems that it happens occasionally and complexity of formulas is not a source of the problem.

OS Ubuntu 11.10, LibreOffice 3.5RC3

I think this problem is gone; however, it happened occasionally. I will come back to this later, when I will use 3.5 or newer version on regular basis.

Do not hesitate to reopen if this bug is reproducible with the latest stable release and a test case can be created.

I didn't meet this bud any more, I guess it is gone and can be closed.
