Created attachment 57008 [details] A MS Word document saved to ODT using OpenOffice.org 3.2 The original document was created in MS Word. When I opened that *.doc with OpenOffice.org 3.2 the formatting looked nearly identical to MS Word. I then saved that document as a ODT file. Re-opening that ODT document in OpenOffice.org 3.2 still looks like the original MS Word document. But when I open that ODT file with LibreOffice 3.4, the formatting is completely different - different heading, no borders etc. Saving the ODT document in LibreOffice and opening it again makes no difference. Opening the original MS Word *.doc file in LibreOffice also doesn't look correct. The biggest worry is opening the ODT document (which looks correct in OpenOffice.org 3.2), but looks very different in LibreOffice. This could cause all kinds of problems with our other ODT documents. So I recommended that our company stay with OpenOffice 3.2 for now, and NOT upgrade to LibreOffice. I have attached some screenshots to show how the original document looks like in MS Word, then OpenOffice.org and LibreOffice. I have also attached the ODT document in question.
