Thanks for bugreport Reproduced in 3.5.1 on Fedora 64 bit reproducible with LO 4.3.0.4 (Win 8.1), I agree it is quite difficult to see the grid Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice Writer -> Grid -> Subdivision, Horizontal and Vertical spaces. After enabling the grid in Tools > Options > LibreOffice Writer > Grid, it is barely visible, limiting its use. Pehraps instead of single pixel a pixel cross could be used to implement the grid view, replacing eac pixel. Here is a visualization of such cross ("_" would be blank/background): _____ __*__ _***_ __*__ _____
