Description adiazubierna 2012-02-28 06:19:32 UTC
Problem description:
When I open a .doc and I tried to save it (It doesn't matter if i save like .odt or like .doc) LibreOffice crash before save it.
It happens in my two computers. The two with Ubuntu 11.10, but one of them ir just installed Ubuntu, so I think that this bug is not because of a conflict with another package.

(Sorry for my English)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a .doc file
2. Save it

Current behavior:
LibreOffice crash

Expected behavior:
LibreOffice should save the file without problems.

Platform (if different from the browser):
Ubuntu 11.10, Kernel 3.0.0-16-generic

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu/11.10 Chromium/18.0.997.0 Chrome/18.0.997.0 Safari/535.15

[Not reproducible] with "LibreOffice 3.5.2 - Windows Vista Home Premium (32bit) Spanish UI"

Does it crash with every .doc file or just with one specific document? In such case could you attach any example documents to allow others to check on different
system/build?

No feedback since months, put it as INVALID.

adiazubierna: don't hesitate to reopen this tracker if you can still reproduce this with a newer LO version (last one is 3.6.4).
In this case, try to reproduce after having renamed your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile)
In this case, attach an example doc file so we can try to debug.
