Example file that causes the reported bug

Editing of cells in a spreadsheet that contain long text (with line breaks) seem to cause crash systematically

Example: -> file attached.

Operations:
1. Enter in cell C4
2. Select the text in bold at the beginning: "energy consumption" in the text editing field at the tool bar (not in the cell C4 itself !) and then try to delete.

On my machine (Ubuntu 10.10) a crash is caused.

As an additional hint (not clear if related): Similar documents cause crashes on Windows 7 machines -> LibreOffice - Calc closes and when trying to re-open, content.xml's are corrupt (some elements are double declared).

I didn't reproduce it with 3.5 branch (so not exactly 3.5.0). Could you try to reproduce this problem with a newer version of LO ? (3.4.5 or 3.5.0)

FYI, there won't be any new version of 3.3.X

No feedback since months, put it as WFM.

Hans: don't hesitate to reopen this tracker if you can still reproduce this with a newer LO version (last one is 3.6.4). On LibreOffice ppa, I don't think you'll find 3.6.4 but you'll find 3.6 version. 3.3. is really too old.
