Based on the thread "How can I debug XML filter in LibreOffice Calc?" by shimrot <shimrot@gmail.com> at http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/msg09609.html I can report, that the descriped behaviour of LO Calc did not change.

I wrote an export-filter to work an a frequently updated spreadsheet, doing a fine job with oOOCalc 3.x. As shimrot said: "Iam pretty dependand on this feature".

LO Calc returns an incomplete result - it seems, the adressing of cells doesn't work.

What has changed in LO since the fork from oOO that makes it impossible to run the export-filter properly?

Using Win7*64 SP1, 
LibreOffice 3.5.0rc3, Build-ID: 7e68ba2-a744ebf-1f241b7-c506db1-7d53735 
Java Build 1.6.0_30-b12

Could you attach any example documents to allow others to check on different
system/build?
