Example to show how overwrite should work

In writer, if a text range is selected and then overwritten with new characters, the formatting of the original characters should be preserved and transfered to the newly written ones.

Example: There are some "bold" characters between normal ones. When selecting the bold ones and typing a new text, this should also appear in "bold". A sample file explaining my meaning will be added.

In my opinion the requested feature, which is also implemented in MS-Word, is very useful.

Never confirmed by a QA member (or even a 2nd person). Moving back to UNCONFIRMED. In the future please do not set your own bugs to NEW. Thanks

Unless some corner case is in work, it works as expected with the master version.
