Just tested the files attached by the OP by opening them in LO 3.4.6 and LO 3.5.1 and the actual issue is somehow different. Actually they are just "read-only" files without password protection, but that isn't relevant to the issue. What happens is that while objects in the text document are promptly selectable and editable (after activating the "edit file" icon) the objects in the spreadsheet are just apparently unselectable and uneditable. For some reason we cannot select or activate them by clicking with the mouse nor through the Navigator. At least until we activate "Tabelle2" (second sheet of the file) bringing it to the foreground and then clicking again in "Tabelle1" (the sheet with the objects) so that is is displayed again with its contents. Now all objects become selectable and consequently editable... So the actual issue is not that objects remain readonly after Spreadsheet leaves readonly mode, but the impossibility to focus/select/edit the objects in the active sheet when the file is opened in read-write mode, which can be worked around by changing focus to a different sheet then return focus to the relevant sheet... NEW due to Comment 1 Indeed , switching to an other sheet and back allows to click the objects @afunkebr@ig.com.br: Thank you for clarification and for the workaround @Kohei: Please set Status to ASSIGNED and add yourself to "Assigned To" if you accept this Bug Not reproducible on LO 4.0.4.2 (Win7 32bit) |
Created attachment 58537 [details] Sample documents Steps how to reproduce with "LibreOffice 3.5.1.2 German UI/Locale [Build-ID: dc9775d-05ecbee-0851ad3-1586698-727bf66] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) 1. open "WriteProtectedSpreadsheetwithObjectsLibO35.ods" from attached test kit (Has been saved with options 'save with password -> Open write protected' > Write protected as expected, you can't edit anything 2. Click icon 'Edit file' > normal toolbars appear 3. Modify cell C3 to "x", works as expected 4. Click / doubleclick chart, Fontwork or DRAW elements Expected: should be editable, too Actual: no access, you can not select and edit objects That's at least inconsistent compared to WRITER, where elements become editable with step 2. And I can not see any sense in that behavior. That never worked in LibO or OOo.
