When i have a password-protected XLS file open,
and try to open a .docx, which is attached to an email i received, than libreoffice 3.5.1.2 crashes..

I repeated this step a couple of times and each time, LO crashed, so i'm filing this bug-report.

But, when i tried to create sample documents to attach here, which should show what i was doing, opening the doc 'suddenly' went OK.....

Still reporting it, because it crashes too often when trying to open this docx.

When the XLS was not opened, the opening of the docx was always succesfull!

Can you attach both .docx and .xls documents here?
Comment 3 Luuk 2012-04-01 06:01:46 UTC
Unfortunalty i cannot do so

My password protected XLS is containting all the passwords i have,
And this docx is nt a public document...

I tried to 're-create' this situation, but was unable to do so ;(

i will try some more, and if thing succeed "i'll be back"...

Modified the Summary in order to

-- make it easier to find this bug report if someone else has the specific problem that LibreOffice (Writer?) crashes when he opens a .docx file while a .xls file is open

-- prevent the wrong assumption that this is just a Writer bug (if an open XLS file has influence on opening a .docx file, there must be a deeper root of this problem)

-- prevent me from sorting this bug with 'Component' = Writer ;-)

The version is in the 'Version' field, so we can omitt it from the Summary.
