Ditto for border line styles. you can change the borders of table cells by first selecting the cells, and then using Table->Table Properties..., which affects only the selected cells. is there really a bug here? (In reply to comment #2) > you can change the borders of table cells by first selecting > the cells, and then using Table->Table Properties..., > which affects only the selected cells. > > is there really a bug here? You are right, I cannot reproduce the problems in version 3.5.3release. imho WORKSFORME is a better resolution then I am still facing that issue in the LO Version: 4.2.0.2. Attaching a sample (also in pdf version, so that you will be able to see exactly what I am seeing.) Created attachment 93278 [details]
Sample that shows how the background color property is not set properly
(In reply to comment #6) > Created attachment 93278 [details] > Sample that shows how the background color property is not set properly Hi Naryanaras, First of all, the problems you describe are not within the scope of this bug report, which is about border line colour and border line thickness. It would be better to open a new bugreport for your problem. I had a look at your problem anyway: With respect to your bugs ( both #1 and #2): did you select the contents of the cell B5 or the entire cell B5 (when selecting, is the highlighted area inside the borders or really filling the cell)? When you want to select one -entire- cell, I find it best to select 2 cells (e.g. B5 and C5) and then go back to 1 cell (B5). Setting the background colour for one -entire- cell works fine with me (version 4.2.0.4) I have closed this bug again. Should you wish to open a new bug report for your problem I suggest you label the second 'importance' key as enhancement. The behaviour is not fully intuitive, you are quite right there. You can refer to this bug if you want to (See Also: Add). HTH, Winfried |
