This bug still exists in 3.5.4.2. I have now observed that other, third-party dictionaries also break after some time. I can, however, easily re-install them in extension manager, whereas I do not know how to reinstall the dictionaries included with LO when they break. Yes same thing happens in the latest version, spell checker fails to to find spelling errors in Calc. do you still experience the same bug with recent 4.0.4 release? Thanks for asking. I'm on 4.1.0.4 at this stage and since upgrading to this I haven't seen the bug appear. I'm pretty meticulous about upgrading versions and I don't think I've seen it appear for a bit now. That said, because the bug was pretty unpredictable and sometimes didn't appear for quite some time, I'm hesitant to call it closed. Ask me again in a few months! I'll set status RESOLVED WORKSFORME at the moment. I'll ping you in a few months. Feel free to reopen in the meantime if you see the bug reappear. |
