a sample of a hung program and a post-crash report

Problem description:

I'm using filter on dataset that has 8 columns and ~300 rows (none of them wider than ~100 characters). Filtering would often work fine, but when I filter out on one particular column, upon attempt to remove the filter (select All), it would often stop responding and eventually crash.

Steps to reproduce:
1. build an 8 column x 300 rows table
2. add filters
3. play around with them

Current behavior:
hand & then crash

Expected behavior:
working program

@Aurismas:
I tried to reproduce with my system (3.5.3.1/Linux/x86) but could not. At least not with my own data, which was text, numbers, dates (30 cols and >9000 rows). Maybe there's a problem with certain data fields/formats? Could you upload a file containing real data or is it confident?

Is there a way to send it privately? The file contains somewhat sensitive data that I'd rather not share publicly.

On my Mac I see regular crashes of LO Calc when working with filters (changing the selection criteria, either selecting or deselecting options). This has started with the 3.5 series, and continues with 3.6 (currently 3.6.1).

Without the file data or data types used in the columns, it is going to be difficult to reproduce this bug.

Also, which locale are you using ?

I' on Mac OSX 10.8.1 and would be willing to give it a try.

Thanx for your comment; when I saw it, I immediately opened the doc that crashed LibreOffice the day before in a reliable manner, in order to get you some sample document. I guess you know what comes next: the doc did not crash LibreOffice any more. I've tried since, and I will keep on trying. As soon as I get something reliable, I'll be back.

Sorry for this, but the crashed on Saturday drove me really nuts...

Closing as WFM. If the problem reoccurs in a reproducible manner, please re-open this report.
