Component: WriterAssignee: Not Assigned <libreoffice-bugs>
Status: RESOLVED INVALID
Severity: trivial CC: bfo.bugmail, thomas-libo

Version: 3.5.2 release

Description LiquorAssAssin 2012-05-08 07:18:40 UTC
Some Alt + Shortcut keys can be set but not used.

Reproduction:
1)Set shortcut for alt+r to make a reference.
2)Go to document, select text.
3)press alt+r (-BEEP-nothing happens visually)

RESULT:
alt shortcut keys are erased (I think this is a previous bugfix)

NOTE THAT:
     * Alt+FUNCTION keys work fine.
     * remember alt+f opens file in the UI
     * remember alt+f4 closes program
     * I am not sure the range of alt keys affected.
     * F,E,V,I,O,A,T,W,H are used for the UI and more inside submenus

Solution ideas:
-disable alt shortcuts except alt+FUNCTION
-Maybe theres a way to override it. For those not used by UI.

Checked with:
LO 3.6.3.1
Build ID: f8fce0b
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit

Could not reproduce. Defined Insert>Cross-reference action. Field>Cross-references window is displayed when (left) Alt+R is pressed.

Cannot reproduce this. Tested on Windows 7 with Libo Version 4.0.1.2 (Build ID: 84102822e3d61eb989ddd325abf1ac077904985) and Linux Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 297b9ee7d034f95569d9bcef68a3bf801c6983f).
