Forgot to add that ctl+z does not undo the mangled margins Marking this as WORKSFORME. I tried reproducing and my results were different, following your instructions: I started an outline in a new document Opened a new impress document, made a header Copied header Pasted this into Writer Outline Results: Text is much larger, expected as it takes the formatting from the header of impress Undo works for me. LibO: 3.6.1.2 Bodhi Linux If I followed the instructions incorrectly please let me know. Also, it would help if you uploaded a test "package" with an impress document, a writer document, and told us exactly what to copy and where to paste it and then have your result of the same action. If this is a problem still, please try to upload the attachment package as well as explain the steps a bit clearer. Thanks! |
Created attachment 61252 [details] Here is an example of a mangled document after such an action Basic Problem is copying and pasting error. Modifies all margins, ruins headers and changes style defaults upon paste. 1. Copy some text formatted in a presentation (or the web) 2. Paste into the list 3. Watch margins become altered, headers change, styles altered Should not do this I have attached document where this happened, prior to paste: Margins were 1" all around Header had no padding, and was not dynamically spaced
