The reporter is right, in LibreOffice 3.4.x the "Export as PDF" window is very high and will not fit on small screens (like on netbooks, I suppose). But I think that we can close this report now because in LibreOffice 3.5.x the "Export as PDF" window was completely redesigned. It is still a rather big dialog window, of course, but now it has landscape orientation instead of portrait orientation and therefore will fit much better on today's screens which are often in widescreen format (the width is much greater than the height). Given the fact that 3.5.x is the current default version and will soon be the old stable version (3.6 will get released at the end of this month or so), I think we can savely ignore 3.4.x-only problems and encourage people instead to update either to 3.5.x or directly to 3.6. IMHO 3.5.x is now really stable enough for everybody (at least, not less stable than 3.4.x ever was ;-). Feel free to re-open this issue if this problem is still urgent for you with LibreOffice 3.5.x or 3.6.x. Thank you! |
Created attachment 61395 [details] export pdf window screenshot The "Export as PDF" window is too big to fit a screen of *x768 resolution. As can be seen in the attached screenshot, all the bottom buttons ("Export", "Cancel", Help) falls of the bottom of the screen, and the window must be dragged (alt+mouse1) in order to see and use them. In most cases this would be solved using a scrollbar.
