Like in MS Excel, If I select some of the cells (with CTRL) with numbers, they are not getting added up. They are getting added up if select consecutive cells with Shift button, but not when I am selecting selected cells with CTRL button.

No Idea what you are talking about. The SUM field in the Status Bar at the bottom of the window?
And what do you expect, what is the problem? I only read some observations in your report, no rating whether that's good of bad.
Please contribute information concerning 
- your OS (Version, Distribution, Language)
- concerning your LibO version (with Build ID if it's not a public release)
  and localization (UI language, Locale setting)
- Libo settings that might be related to your problems

Still no idea what reporter is talking about. I first thought that there might be a problem with the SUM in the status bar, but some versions I checked between LibO 3.3.3 and 3.6.6 all added separate cells selected with <control+mousebutton>

So Invalid due to reporter's inactivity.
