Marking as NEEDINFO.

What information I'm looking for:

What operating system are you using?
What distro (if linux)?
Does this happen printing from other software (please test)

I suspect that if you're using Linux it's not our bug (can be confirmed if the time is slow for other software as well), could be an issue with CUPS.

Also, are the documents large or does this happen even when you print blank sheets?

Please provide information and then mark as UNCONFIRMED and I'll check it out. Thanks for helping us make LibO a better product for everyone :D

What operating system are you using?
A: Windows 7

What distro (if linux)?
A: Not applicable.

Does this happen printing from other software (please test).
A: In another software, printing occurs directly. LibreOffice prepares printing before sending to the printer. This preparation is very time consuming.

I suspect that if you're using Linux it's not our bug (can be confirmed if the time is slow for other software as well), could be an issue with CUPS.
A: I also suspect that this is a "feature" of LibreOffice, not a bug.

Also, are the documents large or does this happen even when you print blank sheets?
If the document has more than 20 pages, even if they are blank, the wait is long.

Thanks for all the information. Now I suspect it's a bug or at least an enhancement request, I'll do a test tonight for 30 blank sheets to see what happens.

And what happened? :)

My printer started receiving info within 3 seconds with 50 copies selected, the first sheet took about 10 seconds to come out but I think that was just my printer acting funny.

LibreOffice 3.6.1.2 on Windows 7

Marking as WORKSFORME.

Leandro: what version of LibO are you running? Please test on latest stable release and mark as UNCONFIRMED if you're still seeing an issue. Also what printer do you have? That shouldn't really matter but can't hurt to let us know :)
