More on this bug : the same problem occurs when copy / pasting from Writer to Writer. It happens that all the styles and formatting of the source document is copied to the destination document and this is not undoable. I see this bug on Linux 64 bits. RB Oops, sorry! Don't take into account my previous comment because it was related to another bug with nearly the same name (don't know how to delete a comment I wrote by mistake?). RB Maybe this is dupe of bug 51103? Both seems refer to the same problem and same version branch. Still happens with version 3.6? And 4.0 beta? Thanks! |
Created attachment 63280 [details] Screenshot of fresh pasted table in Impress Problem description: Copy a table from Writer and paste to Impress does not work Steps to reproduce: 1. Create table in Writer and format with some nice background color and span over some fields 2. Select table and copy with Ctl-C (or via menue) 3. Open Impress and paste with Ctrl-V (or via menue) Current behavior: Table is inserted with own design. All formatting has gone and the span over columns/fields is destroyed. Table can not be used any more or needs heavy reformatting. Expected behavior: Data exchange between Writer and Impress should work seamless. So table should look exactly the same in Writer or Impress. Platform (if different from the browser): Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0
