Fantastic idea, confirming the enhancement request. This may take awhile for someone to tackle but we'll see what we can do. Thanks for the suggestion! A project at the Ecole Centrale de Nantes has already implemented prototypes in order to save the ink/highlightings/annotations made during a presentation. Maybe these links are helpful for the implementation: https://pedagogie.ec-nantes.fr/tablet-pc/index.php/2009/12/18/study-of-sereval-prototypes-for-the-new-impress-diaporama-menu/ https://pedagogie.ec-nantes.fr/tablet-pc/index.php/2009/07/11/supports-des-exposes-centrale-nantes-openofficeorg-effectues-aux-rmll-2009-slides-from-the-talks-at-rmll-2009-dedicated-to-the-projects-involving-centrale-nantes-and-openofficeorg/ https://pedagogie.ec-nantes.fr/tablet-pc/index.php/page/2/ Created attachment 136548 [details]

How annotations instead appear on the wrong slide on subsequent presentation mode
While links on comment #2 are broken, I highlight that, at least with LO 5.1.6.2, it is possible to save the annotations made during presentation if the option "Mouse painter as pen" (in Slide Show Settings) has been enabled before starting the presentation. This workaround is however very buggy: with just a few notes (~10) im press becomes extremely slow and unresponsive to close the presentation and if you restart the presentation, notes are displayed on the wrong slide (see my screenshots). So, any news about the project at the Ecole Centrale de Nantes ? I opened a new bug (https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112687) for the issues when annotations made during presentations are saved. I think this bug should be closed as "solved" as actually the annotations can be saved, just the way they are created (using tons of points instead of using Bézier curves) leads to LO being unresponsive. |
