Kind regards Hi, in version LibreOffice 3.6.1.2 (Build ID: e29a214) (Windows 7 x64 PL) file opens corectly in Impress, also with other files is OK. Thanks. Hi! I found the same problem, that many ppt files cannot be opened by libreoffice 3.5.6.2. The open dialog results in offer to import file as text document. Some ppt files are still working. I'm not sure if size of files mentioned here (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53883) is the reason, because large excel files can be opened rather easy. Sample file can be found here (https://docs.google.com/open?id=0Bxv4jQ_04jXZSUtoUkh0NVJHRGc). Please, let me know if you cannot access it! The same file can be opened with earlier versions of libreoffice Linux, Ubuntu 12.04 32 bit. I was wrong. The same happened when I tried to open doc file having 10 MB weight so these 2 issues might duplicating. I close this bug report as WORKSFORME because it is no longer reproducible. Created attachment 65627 [details] Screen Hi,I have a ppt (new287.ppt) file when trying to open it, LibreOffice 3.6.1.1 opens in Calc (screen). When trying to open it now in version 3.5.6, LibreOffice 3.5.6 opens it as text. The file is too big I can not attache. I send screen with LibreOffice 3.6.1.1 (In LibreOffice 3.6.0.4 and 3.5.5 everything is OK). Sorry for my english.
