File that Calc can't open
bt + console logs on master |

Libreoffice Calc 3.5.6 opens the spreadsheets regularly. Indeed, it seems that a change made to the code from version 3.5 tov3.6 is the cause of the problem. Could you attach an example file so we can try to reproduce? Created attachment 65839 [details]

bt + console logs on master
On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I reproduced the problem.
Attached console logs + bt
So is the bug confirmed? quantum: Status "New" means it's confirmed. Moreover, comment 4 is quite explicit, isn't it? :-) NOT reproducable under Mac OSX 10.8; LO 3.6.1.1 (build id:4db6344); Dutch Language pack; The file just open fine. (In reply to comment #6) > quantum: Status "New" means it's confirmed. Moreover, comment 4 is quite > explicit, isn't it? :-) Sure, my mistake! ;) So, do you have any idea why it is happening? Will look into that one but need a dbgutil build for this one. Might take some days. (In reply to comment #9) > Will look into that one but need a dbgutil build for this one. Might take some > days. If you want me to test some patches from you, no problem. I can give you bt + console logs. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 55022 *** |
Problem description: .ODS files that would open regularly using Libreoffice 3.5.5 causes Libreoffice Calc 3.6.0 to crash. Steps to reproduce: 1. Try to open the spreadsheet. Current behavior: As I try to open the spreadsheets, they cause Libreoffice Calc to crash. Windows pops up a message stating that it is looking for the cause of the crash. Expected behavior: Open the spreadsheet. Platform (if different from the browser): Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1 Notes: 1. The spreadsheets that are causing the bug have many dcount and dsum formulas placed on several cells. Other spreadsheets without such formulas open regularly.
