Do you experience crash when right clicking a word, only when this word is in a header/footer or even if it is in the normal text area? Did you install the LO version provided by your distribution or the standard version build by TDF and downloaded from http://www.libreoffice.org ? Set status to NEEDINFO: please provide additional infos. We will leave the bug in this status for 6 months at which time we'll close the bug as INVALID. If your bug is closed as INVALID after 6 months and you still experience it, please attach needed information and reopen the bug as UNCONFIRMED" Best regards. JBF The crash first occurred when right-clicking a word editing a footer section. I could afterwards repeat it by clicking in the normal text area as well. My install was from the .rpm package from libreoffice.org, converted to .tgz packages using rpm2tgz (I've used this process numerous times installing OOo without any glitches). After uninstalling I tried the LO 3.5.5 .txz package from my distro's official repo, same result. Crashes related to right-clicking seem to have occured under various circumstances in previous LO versions, e.g. http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-926118-start-0.html http://ooo-forums.apache.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=41753 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/718492 http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-bugs/2011-January/002612.html Did you try to resetting your LO user profile ? http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Faq/General/110 Best regards. JBF Yes, indirectly: a) as said in previous post, I uninstalled LO3.6.0 (including the personal settings folder) and installed LO3.5.5, but the problem reappeared. b) I also installed LO3.6.0 on another machine with another distro (SalixOS). Same problem. In other words I don't think that the setup is the culprit. Is this still an issue in the latest stable release? If yes, could you try to deliver debug output according to http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/How_to_debug ?
