Problem description:
When working in Calc with Japanese characters they are wrongly displayed in the input line. When copying Japanese text from writer into Calc fonts get wrong

Copied from Writer Japanese text (mixture of hirgana, kanji, katakana and Latin characters; default font MS GOTHIC 10.5) copied into Calc
1 - copied directly into the cell; resulting in readable Japanese text; font MS GOTHIC 6.8 for Japanese characters and 10.5 for Latin Characters
2 - copied into the input line. Undefined characters for Japanese characters, Latin characters readable and font MS GOTHIC 10.5

Entered text in Calc; default font MS GOTHIC 10.5
1 - text entered directly into cell; is correct readable in cell but in input line only kanji and latin characters appear correct
2 - text is entered into input line; is correct in readable in cell but in input line only kanji and latin characters appear correct

Steps to reproduce:
1.
a - enter Japanese text into writer and copy into calc
b - enter Japanese text into calc
2. Look at the results

Current behavior:

Comment 3 bugquestcontri 2012-10-13 17:39:44 UTC
bug 65985 is not a double of 45966. Reason: in 45966 the copy&paste resulted in unreadable characters and was reported for 3.5.5.3 release.
in bug 65985 the situation is already better as all characters are readable and the version is 3.5.6.2
i don't want to change the status because i don't have sufficient knowledge in bugzilla
