Problem description: 

The problem occurs

(a) LibreOffice -> general preferences -> colors
(b) Extruded objects -> extrusion colors

Both menus allow changes, however, for some unknown reason, the changes are not saved. 

Steps to reproduce:
1. ....

3. ....

Current behavior:
Both menus allow changes, however, for some unknown reason, the changes are not saved. 
Expected behavior:
Color change should be no only accepted but also applied 
(a) on creating a new object
(b) on extruding an existing object and/or change of an already extrude object.

Platform (if different from the browser): 
              
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_8) AppleWebKit/536.25 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0 Safari/536.25

Sorry I do not understand what you mean. Please provide a step by step scenario to reproduce the problem.
