Please test with a 3.6.2 daily build. This bug should be fixed there.

Without a sample document nothing can be done here.

Hi,

I have the same problem that if you delete some columns the program crashes e.g. try deleting column E first and then column D in sheet (HPF_4_Mag).

My situation may be similar enough to continue in this thread.

In LO v3.6.2.2 on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit deleting more than 3 to 5 rows crashes LO. Sometime immediately. Sometimes when I next try to Save the file immediately after the row deletion.

I moved the file to an older computer. In LO v3.4.5 on Windows XP Pro 32-bit the row deletion worked OK.

NOT reproducible with Server Installation of "LibreOffice 3.6.2.2 release” German UI/ German Locale [Build-ID: da8c1e6] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)

Test with "Stock list":
1. Launch LibO
2. Open Sample document with LibO Start Center 'File -> Open' menu
   > Document opens, shows sheet "HPF_4_Mag"
3. Click Column Heading "E"
4. Menu 'Edit -> Delete Cells'
   > Column disappears
5. Click Column Heading "D"
6. Menu 'Edit -> Delete Cells'
   > Column disappears, no Crash

7. I additionally deleted Clumns "A" this way until document was ampty, no crash

Test with "Visa_Charges":
11. Launch LibO
12. Open Sample document with LibO Start Center 'File -> Open' menu
    > Document opens, shows sheet "DailyLog"
13. Click Row Heading "2"
    > Row becomes highlighted
14. Scroll down (using scroll slider) until row 441 is visible in Middle of the
    screen
15. <shift+click> Row Heading "441"
    > Rows 2...441 becomes highlighted
16. Menu 'Edit -> Delete Cells'
   > rows disappear, no Crash

Unfortunately your comments are not very useful, because they are much to imprecise.

Please:
- Contribute a document related step by step instruction containing every
key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem
  as you see above
– if possible contribute an instruction how to create a sample document
  from the scratch
- add information
-- concerning your PC (video card, ...)
-- concerning your OS (Version, Distribution, Language)
-- concerning your LibO version (with Build ID if it's not a public release)
and localization (UI language, Locale setting)
–- Libo settings that might be related to your problems
-- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document
–- Whether your problem persists when you renamed your user profile
before you launch LibO (please see
     <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#User_profile_location>)
-- everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts
-- A hypothesis what in your documents is different to those what do not
     crash

Today I cannot replicate the crash behavior. There have been too many changes to troubleshoot; including the October monthly Microsoft security updates dosage.

I appreciate learning about the user profile trick while troubleshooting.

Hasta la vista,
David

I downloaded the new version 3.6.2.2 and with that I can not reproduce the crashing behaviour. So I think the issue is solved. Thanks for your help.
