see also bug 53533 @reporter please install LO 3.6.2 RC1 and try again. Report again if problem exits still. acknowledged. will test with 3.6.2 RC1 tonight and let you know. Hello, I installed 3.6.2.1 as directed (but only on windows XP as yet) and it fixed the blowing up issue with "properties --> Summary" tab. Strange though -- now I get 2 Summary tabs, both work, but are different formats. Should I have uninstalled the 3.2.1 first and then installed 3.6.2.1 ? thanks, rich Do I change the "NeedInfo" status to something else ?? Window 7 install of LO 3.6.2.1 also corrected blow up issue. <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport_Details#Version> I can't see any fix here! DUP due to comments. @Rich Reamer Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you find evidence that we have an independent issue here. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 53533 *** |
Created attachment 67468 [details] screen print of windows error popup hello, i have been able to replicate this same "windows explorer" blowing up issue on both windows XP and windows 7. on windows 7, i can only barely get the "right click" menu before explorer blows up. on windows xp, i can get the "right click" menu. then if i pick "properties" and then select the "Summary" - explorer blows up. its similar to the "flat ods" windows explorer blowup ticket 53833. I tried a similar registry removal for the ".ods" file extension. didnt work. trying to get "summary" properties still blows explorer up even after windows reboot. thanks, rich
