1. Create a new blank spreadsheet document.
2. type something into the sheet.
3. Go to Tools -> Options -> Calc -> General and check "User printer metrics for text formatting".
4. Go to print preview.
5. Zoom in to make the paper larger than the screen size.

At this point, you would expect the horizontal or vertical scroll bar (or both) to appear, but they don't.

Noel, I believe you worked in this area recently?  Could you take a look at this one?

I must be missing some step, I can't reproduce this

is there some specific content needed?, how do you zoom ( some special steps?,  for me either using slider or buttons I see the scrollbars when expected )

Note: I am using 3.6 branch but there has been no 'recent' changes afaicr around this area
