Created attachment 68033 [details]
Test xls

Opening the xls in the attachment the two date field are displayed as :

03//2012

instead of :

03/10/2012

Why ?

If I open the same xls with MS Excel or with Gnumeric I don't have any problem .

This is not a bug;

This is because off your 'Cell format'. Your cell's number format = 'date' 'GG//AAAA'.

How to solve: right click on cell -> 'Format Cells...' -> tab 'Numbers' -> Category 'Date' -> select the correct 'Format' in the list. As you see here, it's now set as 'GG//AAAA'.

Kind regards,
Joren
