NOT reproduced in Libo Version 4.0.0.0.beta1 (Build ID: 87906242e87d3ddb2ba9827818f2d1416d80cc7) That never was possible(at least when I tried with server installation of "LibreOffice 3.5.7.2 German UI/Locale [Build-ID: 3215f89-f603614-ab984f2-7348103-1225a5b] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit). But indeed, sometimes it seems possible: for example for a normal line if "snap to grid" is unselected and you only d a minimum shift for the new point so that it looks as if you still have 2 lines, but in reality you have 2 arms of an angle. @ydutrieux Can you please check again? @ Martin Stolpe : What is your operating system? Can you please try to add points to the lines at the points marked with the arrows (with "snap to grid = off" and attach your result? Can you please try to add points to the lines at the points marked > with the arrows (with "snap to grid = off" and attach your result? Ok. I reproduce the problem with "snap to grid = OFF". As described, if we move a little the mouse when button is pressed, the point is created. Yves Created attachment 76238 [details]
