Description Christopher Kaschig 2012-10-08 07:03:55 UTC
Hello,

first please excuse while I'm not posting on the first attempt all neccessary informations - it's my first time in this list so I would be glad if You direct me to some more 'to-do-steps'.

For the problem:
I've just switched from LibreOffice 3.3 to 3.6.2.2 (with uninstalling the old one and installing the new version). While most documents I've created woth LibreOffice 3.3 Calc can be openend and edited one single document causes a crash by LibreOffice.

When opening it the bar "document loading appears" and after some while the message "LibreOffice has crashed, alls documents were saved" (or similar I'm from the German version) appears. But the list of re-build documents is empty.

I cannot find any log on this crash right now, so it's hard to give You more detailed informations.

Is there a 'secured' area to put this file onto - to enable involved developers to have a look into? Even it's nothing 'real private', posting it here is nothing I would prefer to do :)

With kind regards,
Chris

@Christopher Kaschig:
Please see <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55760#c1>!
You can send the document to me by mail (simply click my name in the comment heading), I can check it and may be forward it to very few developers, but we would keep it confidential and not publish it.

I have the same issue with a particular file on Mac OS X. I attached a crash report generated by Mac OS, hope it would be helpful. If needed, I can share the file privately.

(Improved Component field; we are talking about Spreadsheet files, right?!)
Comment 5 Christopher Kaschig 2013-03-04 19:15:59 UTC
I hereby confirm that this bug (crash) is no longer occuring in LibreOffice 3.6.5.2 (Build 5b93205) I recently installed.

The same file I had the error before could be opened now without harm.
