Logically Spreadsheet should consider 08-010 or your other example as text not as a date - adding filters and algorithms to catch typos and/or user errors complicates the code unnecessarily and causes users to get confused when they actually want text but it keeps changing it to a date. Additionally, this would break compatibility with MSO which we try hard to avoid. Marking as WONTFIX |
Problem description: It's a suggestion when entring date. If we enter date like 08-10 Ooo recongnise it and transform in a date like 08/10/2012 but when I enter 08-010 or 012-10 the system don't recongnise it us 08/10/2012 or 12/10/2012.
