Spell checker underlines word that isn't in dictionary. Click on word. Click on "add to dictionary." Underline disappears. Next time app is started, spreadsheet shows same mispellings.

I experience the same problem in 3.6.2.2

Please check if user-defined dictionaries are enabled in Tools>Options>Language Settings>Writing Aids.
