Description elspazzo 2012-11-01 20:58:16 UTC
Problem description:
When minimized, users lose any way of actually accessing any open windows in LibreOffice Writer. The program does not appear in the alt+tab program switcher, nor does it appear anywhere on the menu bar. It is possible to get back to the open documents through the built in window switcher, but that's it.

Steps to reproduce:
1. open LibreOffice.
2. Minimize.
3. Try to find it.

Platform (why the hell do you need to know my browser version?):
Ubuntu/12.04 Chromium/20.0.1132.47

Checked with:
LO 4.0.2.2
Build ID: own W7 debug build
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit

Could not reproduce.

I see nothing wrong with LO 4.0.3.3 (Win7 Home 32bit) & LO 3.6.6.2 (Ubuntu 12.04 32bit)

Could you test with latest LO version from repo?

Not reproducible.

Closing this issue for now. Important information is missing.

Elspazzo, if you still experience this problem, could you please try to:

* test against the latest stable LO version (currently 4.1.4.1)
http://libreoffice.org/download/
* you might also want to reset your user profile and see if that improves the situation: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile

Should you still run into this problem, you can re-open this issue.
