Expected behaviour:
1. Click File->Open
2. A window should pop-up allowing user to select a file to be opened.

Observed behaviour:
1. Click File->Open
2. Nothing happens.

Not reproducible for me with LO 3.7.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 3cdd49) under Ubuntu 12.04 x86_64.
Perhaps problem MS-Windows/MinGW only

Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you find evidence that we have an independent issue here. Such evidence might be that your problem really is limited to CALC or that also LibO File dialog does not appear.
