As 3.5.x is EOL, is this still an issue in the latest stable release? (In reply to comment #1) > As 3.5.x is EOL, is this still an issue in the latest stable release? Yes, still crashing when i change between tabs as described earlier LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 - build: 350m1(Build:2) (In reply to comment #2) > Yes, still crashing when i change between tabs as described earlier In which version did you check? (In reply to comment #3) > In which version did you check? LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 (3.5.4+dfsg-4) build: 350m1(Build:2) OS: Debian Unstable Arch: amd64 Desktop: Gnome3 hope this helps (In reply to comment #4) > (In reply to comment #3) > > In which version did you check? > LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 (3.5.4+dfsg-4) > build: 350m1(Build:2) > OS: Debian Unstable > Arch: amd64 > Desktop: Gnome3 > hope this helps This is not the latest version of LibreOffice, in fact, as I mentioned earlier, 3.5.x is End Of Life, which means no more updates. Please recheck in latest 3.6.x version or 4.0 rc 3. I agree with bfoman. Therefore I set bug status to NEEDINFO. Please set this bug to RESOLVED WORKSFORME if you can't reproduce this behavior anymore; or to UNCONFIRMED if you still can reproduce this. Kind regards, Joren (In reply to comment #6) > I agree with bfoman. Therefore I set bug status to NEEDINFO. I'll post updates regarding this bug soon as a new version come out for my distro. Hello :) I finally have new LibreOffice (4.0.3-2) in my Debian SID x86_64 box, works very well and the issue is gone. No more crash when i switch between tabs in Impress! Thanks for your patience & hard work ;) Hi! |
Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. Open an .odp file 2. Switch from "Normal" tab to another one (i.e. Outline, Notes, Handout, Slide) 3. See it crash and recover it after 4. as a side note i must say i can switch only to the "Slide Sorter" tab but then i can't go back to "Normal" or anything else tab, because it crash too 5. tested with DWM window manager and all it's ok but usually i'm on Gnome3 Current behavior: Impress crash when i switch tabs Expected behavior: Switch from "Normal" tab to the "Outline" or "Notes" or "Handout" tabs one without crashes Platform (if different from the browser): Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0.10) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.10 Iceweasel/10.0.10 OS: Debian Sid amd64
