Writer tables consist of rows and cells, there are no columns so ColSpan property doesn't make sense. don't know about Calc tables. Hi John, The column width is retrieved from an array TableColumnSeparators, from a row object. I have done that in Basic some time ago. XCell xCell = xTable.getCellByName("A1"); XPropertySet xPS = UnoRuntime.queryInterface(XPropertySet.class, xCell); Property[] props = xPS.getPropertySetInfo.getProperties(); We have "RowSpan" name in props[i].Name but we haven't got "ColSpan"
