Do you mean "click holding Shift key" ? Yes clicking while holding shift-key @Magalaan: Is my understanding right that you mean the following? 1. Open a new document in WRITER 2. Write any text with several words 3. Select one word (with for instance double left mouse click on the word) 4. Hold the Shift Key and make a single left mouse click on a word on the left or on the right of the already selected word -> Result: Selection is extended to the position of the left mouse click 5. While still holding the Shift Key make a left mouse click inside the selected text to shrink the selection |
Problem description: When I make a selection in the text and try to shrink the selection by clicking inside the selection, it does not react. I can expand the selection by clicking outside of it, but not shrink it by clicking inside of it. cursor keys however do work Steps to reproduce: 1. Make a text selection 2. Click inside the selection to shrink it.... 3. .... Current behavior: Nothing happens Expected behavior: Selection is shrunk unto the point clicked Platform (if different from the browser): Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.11 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/23.0.1271.64 Safari/537.11
