Hi, In what language do you use LibreOffice and will like to check the spelling? You can find such settings in Tools > Options > Language Settings > Languages. There you can make some changes. Another possibility is to look at Tools > Extension Manager. Are there any dictionaries installed? If not (or no dictionary in the language you want to 'spell check' you can find many dictionaries here: http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center?getCategories=Dictionary ) Does this resolve your problem? Kind regards, Joren I received your answer by mail; Because there are others who're reading/following this conversation/scan for unconfirmed bugs I think it's better to post it here: (there is no confidential information as far I can see, therefore I just post it right away) ----------------------- Thank you so much for giving solution to solve the spell check problem. It helped me a lot. There is one which can be improved on another criteria. It' s about the Chinese punctuation. Some punctuation doesn't show correctly. For example, the full stop '。' is different from time to time. Please look to the attachment. Although it isn't a big problem, it isn't looking good. Hope my opinion will help and improve LibreOffice. Yours faithfully, Daniel Chan ---------------------- I'm glad your spell check problem is solved. Please feel free to open another bug report regarding this 'full stop' issue. I'll close this bug as WORKSFORME because this bug is regarding the spell check issue. Kind regards, Joren |
