Hi M8R-y8ewcd, thanks for reporting. The notwork.rtf crash LibreOffice. Reproducible with: Win7x64 Ultimate. Version 3.6.4.3 Version 4.0.0.1 (Build ID: 527dba6f6e0cfbbc71bd6e7b88a52699bb48799) Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 612981fc8fd7a35d8112951e05e1b2cf0f5f1c0) Created attachment 73166 [details]
console logs on master
On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I reproduced the problem.
I attached console logs.
So after having tried to load the rtf, I got:
- a popup error telling: File format error found at 220,1(row,col)
- the window stays blank
- window loading bar (at the bottom of the Writer window) was freezed to about 98% however I could write down something
Miklós: one for you? I can not open the file with LibreOffice 4.5.2 and 4.3.0 on Debian. MS WordViewer fails to open it too. As the file was created with Writer, is it better to consider filesave issue? According to comment 1 I set platform to "all" To give it a new try, I opened the rtf file with Abiword 3.0.0.
I saved the file again in rtf + rtf old.
Both files could be opened with LO Debian package 4.3.0.4.
on file attached, I noticed this:
{\colortbl;\red0\green0\blue0;\red128\green128\blue128;\level ^@^@^@\level ^@^@^@\level ^@^@^@}
but even when removing this line, I still fail to open it with 4.3.0.4 or master sources updated today.
I wonder if the file attached is a correct RTF file. I didn't find any rtf validator online to check.
Any idea?
I cannot open notwork.rtf with Word 2010 neither, it says 'The file appears to be corrupted'. Please provide a correct file in order to verify the issue. Meanwhile I change the status to 'NEEDINFO'. (In reply to Alexandr from comment #4) > As the file was created with Writer, is it better to consider filesave issue? Yes, but reporter didn't leave the address, so Needinfo is useless. Invalid. |
