Description gmolleda 2013-01-26 08:47:34 UTC
1.- Open a new impress document.
2.- Create a table (2x2 cells is ok)
2.- Select all cells and change external border style (only external, not internal)
3.- Join the first row (2 cells)
4.- The right border is wrong.

Turn around: select the first row (joined row), and with "object menu" (right button mouse) option Table..., Bordes (spanish, borders or edges?), in User defined use the internal vertical line --> ok.

The error is that in joined cells, the table draw the first internal cell borders.

Sorry my english, esperanto is better for international comunications (6 months for read and write correctly, english, french or spanish are impossible for non-natives or very expensive in time and money).

Tried to reproduce it. After doing all described steps with LO 4.0.3.+, the left and upper cell border of the merged cells got lost. strg+Z doesn't bring them back.

But I did not manage to get the internal (which shouldn't be there in a merged cell) borders...

Thank you for reporting this bug.

It is reproducible with LO 4.0.1.2 (Win7 Home, 64bit).

Reproduced by the Following Steps:
1. Open IMPRESS and create a new slide
2. Insert a 2 x 2 table (menu: INSERT -> TABLE)
3. Select all the cells and change the border style (Right Mouse Click -> TABLE -> tab BORDERS)
4. Select the first row and merge the cells (Right Mouse Click -> CELL -> MERGE)

Result:
The right border of this row is missing.

Do I install the 4.0.3 version and I try it? (Where is the 4.0.3 version? in http://www.libreoffice.org/download/?type=deb-x86_64&lang=en-GB the last version is 4.0.2, today 23 march 2013 22:10 in Spain)
