OP is reporting on the LibreOffice Bug Submission Assistant (BSA) web interface. Attached .BMP screenshot is of a BSA bug report session for the Spreadsheet component and a FORMATTING sub-component. Expected action: Selection of a sub-component should generate a list of Spreadsheet component bug reports flagged with the sub-component keyword--FORMATTING in this case. Observed action: the listing of related bug reports returns all current Spreadsheet component bug reports, predominately listed as "undefined" Believe the details OP is looking for would be as with this query including a parse of the short_desc field. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&component=Spreadsheet&product=LibreOffice&short_desc=FORMATTING&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr So suspect the query logic for populating the "Related bug reports" section of BSA needs to be adjusted to include parsing of the short_desc field for the defined sub-components for each component category. *** Bug 59544 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** @Rob: May be roots of this one are somewhere nearby appearance of "Bug 60058 - BUGZILLAASSISTANT: useless sub component "undefined"" (only very vague suspect)? The subcomponent wasn't set at the variable we tried to get. Solved now by getting the correct variable. |
Created attachment 74128 [details] screenshot showing related bugs with 'FORMATTING' selected When the list of related bugs appears it is not normally related to what I have entered. It seems to ignore my choice of the keyword 'FORMATTING' for example and present a list of bugs which do not have a keyword 'undefined'. The related bugs should be bugs which start with the same keyword.
