Description marexposed 2013-02-06 15:12:32 UTC
An ODS spreadsheet saved with password protection could be opened without the password being requested. I had been using that same document for months without a problem. Suddenly today the password protection seems to have dissapeared.
Incidentally I had another unprotected document opened before I opened the protected one.
I tried but couldn't reproduce the issue.
Then I saved the document with password again. Will keep trying to reproduce the issue and report further.

Have you only saved it as an ods file or had you also saved it once as a xlsx file, because LO unfortunately does not yet support to save xlsx files with a password? If you save a file as a xlsx file, then the password gets lost.

Impossible to confirm this bug without a test-case and further info from bug reporter.

Marexposed: If you can attach a sample file that still shows this behavior with the latest LO release http://www.libreoffice.org/download/ please do so and re-open this bug.
