In Windows, Splash screen has white text describing what's being done, located above progress bar. In Linux I don't have this text, just progress bar.
To reproduce, just start libreoffice native versions in windows and in linux and compare splash screens.

@Ruslan: This is/was not a bug. If you look now at more recent versions you know why ;-).
