Your software is great.

I need your help. I am an accountant and need to use a double underscore for a cell when I want to put in a final total. Even though it seems to appear in the list of choices, when I try to put in a double underscore, it just comes up with a thick black line.

The ultimate fix for me would be a format for a cell with a single line on the top of the cell and a double underscore at the bottom of the cell. That would be perfection.

Thank you for all of your great work.

Maybe the problem depends on yet some other settings (printer driver ...) but I can achieve the desired result with 4.0.2.2 by setting the border line width to a value between 2 and 4 pt. So I'm setting the Status to WORKSFORME. Please feel free to reopen the bug if you have a better solution in mind.

Be aware of bug #55266, so only reopen this one if it focuses a different aspect.

Screenshot shows double-line borders with different line width settings combined with a single line border in one cell. For comparison, double underscore (Format > Character > Font Effects > Underlining: Double) is shown in right cell.
