Description boicottms 2013-02-22 19:25:42 UTC
Created attachment 75355 [details]
file with a complex grid, with a screnshot of the grid window setup itself included.

Problem description:
If I open the attached file with my carefully planned grid on another pc (running XP64) the grid becomes a 2x2cm.
Steps to reproduce:
1. make a complex grid on win7
2. open it on winXP64
3. ....

Current behavior:
the grid is ok at the opening of the file, but suddendly it's resetted
Expected behavior:
the grid shall be preserved in the file
Note: I even saved a master page template from the first document and copied it to the template folder in the other pc, altough I think the grid itself should be saved in the file.

Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.0.0.3 release

The grid loads and renders fine for me on Linux with LibreOffice 4.0 / 4.1 - at least (AFAICS) ;-) can you give a screenshot of it going wrong ? the grid details are stored in the settings.xml stream in the document and are global / per-document - perhaps you can save the broken document from the winXP64 machine - and see what the difference is (best to save as flat ODP -> '.fodp' and then use diff -u to see the difference).

Thanks !

I can't reproduce the bug again - sorry - now I'm on LO 4.0.1 and the old file seems ok.
I close the bug. But I don't know if it is ok to mark it as "fixed"
Thank you
