Hi, thank you for submitting a bug report. I opened up the Find and Replace dialog by going to Edit -> Find and Replace. The buttons "Find", "Find All", "Replace" and "Replace All" are all inactive until you type something in the "Search For" field. Then all options are active. Because of this I'm marking the bug as WORKSFORME. If it's still an issue for you please provide any additional helpful information and REOPEN the bug. Version: 4.0.2.1 (Build ID: 7e5467ff8f30d821f4fbf69cb2769163eb64c2c) Platform: Ubuntu Linux 12.04 LTS x64 -Brenda Sorry but the bug is still present in 4.0.2.2 The bug doesn't appear in calc but only in writer. I can make a find and a replace but not a "find all" and "replace all" I am running Debian Testing with LibreOffice Writer 4.0.2.2 and I cannot reproduce this issue. Vince, you'll have to provide more information to help re-produce this bug. Marking as "NEEDSINFO". Strange behaviour, I'm using 4.0.2.2 on two different computer with the same Linux Mint Debian (based and debian squeeze). I have two different issues (no problem on my desktop and the bug still present on my laptop - in writer but not in calc for example). I open a text or create in writer Go to edit menu/search and replace all With the desktop the "all" is active but still inactive on my laptop I'll try next days at work with a third computer on LMDE. If I'll try to reinstall 4.0.2.2 on my laptop should I clean some directory in my "home" directory? I solved the problem but I don't know the reason. I removed the libreoffice profile in /home/myaccount/.config/libreoffice and there's no problem with find and replace all but I loose my profile. I think there's some incompatibility with old extension or config data, but I've no time to explore my old profile. |
in the find and replace dialog box, the "find all" and "replace button" are inactive. Operating System: Debian Version: 4.0.1.2 release
